Ski-Doo unveils its Model Year 2027 snowmobile lineup
BRP introduced the 2027 Ski-Doo range: the Skandic and Tundra utility models are redesigned on the REV Gen5 platform, a new Rotax 600RR E-TEC engine arrives, the Expedition gets an LE version on a 16-inch platform, and the Freeride and Summit deep-snow models become lighter. 20th Anniversary editions are offered on MXZ, Renegade and Backcountry.
Ski-Doo electric snowmobiles support Level 2 automotive-standard charging — up to 80% in as little as 90 minutes. The Expedition Electric offers traction and flotation in soft snow and is aimed at ski resorts, commercial use over short distances and recreational use around the home.
Alongside the Expedition Electric, Ski-Doo lists the 2027 Grand Touring Electric, purpose-built for guided tour operations on groomed trails and other commercial applications.
Can-Am Outlander Electric joins the BRP electric family
At the Club BRP 2026 global product reveal, BRP launched the all-new 2026 Can-Am Outlander Electric ATV. It shares the in-house Rotax E-Power powerpack with the Ski-Doo and Lynx electric snowmobiles (2023) and the Can-Am Pulse and Origin electric motorcycles (2024).
BRP’s goal: an electric model in every product line by the end of 2026
BRP committed to develop its Rotax modular electric powerpack and introduce electric models across all product lines — Sea-Doo watercraft, Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles and Can-Am vehicles — by the end of 2026, backed by a dedicated electric-vehicle development centre.
News is summarized in our own words from the official BRP and Ski-Doo websites linked in each card. Model-year labels refer to the manufacturer’s model years.
